CLJSS E-Board Applications Now Open for Fall 2026

CLJSS E-Board Applications are now open for Fall 2026.
For students looking to take on a larger role within the Criminology, Law, and Justice Student Society, this is an opportunity to help shape the organization’s events, outreach, and overall direction for the coming year. Serving on the executive board offers leadership experience, professional development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the CLJ community at UIC.

Each board position plays a different role in supporting CLJSS. Some focus on planning and logistics, while others center on communication, administration, or helping members access valuable academic and professional opportunities. Together, the executive board helps the organization run smoothly and continue building a strong community for students interested in criminology, law, and justice.

For Fall 2026, CLJSS is accepting applications for the following positions:

Treasurer
The Treasurer helps oversee the organization’s financial operations and ensures CLJSS can support its programming and initiatives. This role includes managing budgets, tracking dues and payments, assisting with fundraising logistics, and keeping the executive board informed on financial matters throughout the semester.

Secretary

Public Relations Chair

This role involves promoting events, creating and distributing promotional materials, and maintaining CLJSS’s digital presence across the website, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. The Public Relations Chair plays a major role in keeping members informed and ensuring the organization remains visible, professional, and connected to the broader campus community.

Professional Development Chair
